This letter is filled with information that is very important.  Important Dates to mark on your calendar is April 27, State Meeting and Breakfast 10 AM at the Rodeway Inn.

ShoW Me Your Shoe Parade at Louisiana Boardwalk Mall, 6 PM.

We will have our Gala and Silent Auction on May 29, 2008, 8 PM including dinner.

Awards Breakfast 8 AM, June 1, 2008. All cash awards will be presented at this breakfast.

I hope you all are planning for an exciting three days May 29 – May 31 in Bossier City.  With another new pageant season, we are so excited about the pageant continuing the 14 year tradition. We have new committee members who have been very busy to make this an unforgettable experience.

This year will be a fun and fast paced show. "Teens All Shook Up" is our theme.   Joy and Kelsey will host the preliminary on Friday night and Saturday's final competition host will be named at the state meeting.  Production numbers that the contestants will be featured in include the Opening and the Finale’ on the final night.

The order of competition after the top ten has been announced will be as follows; Casual Wear, Fitness and Evening  gown. We will then call a top five.  Saturday night the Top Five will draw a question and answer it as the final segment of competition.   These questions will be made by the judges.

Clothing for the Production Numbers include the Opening - white bell bottomed pants, white sleeveless button up shirt with a collar.  This outfit can be jeweled down the side of the pants, back, front and collar of shirt.  Use your imagination.  This is the first impression you make on the Judges and audience from the stage. On Stage Question will be done in your casual wear out fit and Finale’ in your evening gown. Fitness will be in white shorts/T-shirt we provide and sandals. You need to bring a hoola hoop for this production.

Remember to get your friends and family to join us May 30 and 31 in Bossier City at the Bossier Civic Center - where “Princesses are All Shook Up”.    We look forward to seeing you on April 29 at the Holiday Inn in Shreveport.
